March 2017: Some upcoming initiatives

Dear Parents,
An update on some upcoming initiatives.

Gymnastics
Introductory Gymnastics classes will take place in the school over the coming weeks with Fiona and Gerry from Ace High Cheerleading Club. Details shortly.





Internet Safety for Parents Session
A workshop on Internet Safety is currently being organised for parents. Parents will be introduced to strategies to help their children be responsible, effective and safer Internet users. This session also looks at cyber bullying. Details to follow soon.



Swimming lessons:
We were delighted with the recent hugely successful course of swimming lessons which 99% participation from 2nd class through to 6th class. Swimming lessons will take place next year again as it was so successful!

Christmas Sale 2016

The Parents Association is delighted to announce details of our upcoming Christmas Bake and Craft Fair. The fair takes place directly after 6.30 p.m. mass at St. Benin's Church, Kilbannon on Saturday, 17th of December 2016.


We hope to replicate the success of our Summer Bake Sale. We will have a fabulous range of tasty goodies for sale along with some delightful local Christmas crafts and decorations. Not only will there be a big selection of tasty Christmas goodies be on sale but we will also have a craft table where festive candles, candle holders, Christmas cards, table ornaments, Christmas tree decorations and larger crafts will be available - All homemade by our crafty parents!

We ask that each family contribute 2 baked items or crafts to our stall. Each of your children will benefit in return. And so....

Welcome to our new blog


Hello and welcome to the new blog of St Benin's N.S. Parents Association, Kilbannon Tuam.

Here we will keep parents and the community updated on all the activities and events planned by the PA.
